Founding Presidents Message

Osama Ahmad Alshafar

Founding President, World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (WBPF) 2009.

2009 was a very proud and special year for all bodybuilding participants because the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation's inaugural WBPF World Men's Bodybuilding Championships was held in Dubai, UAE from 3 - 8 November 2009. I was personally delighted, together with my colleagues of the WBPF to welcome all participants, to this; democratic, transparent and responsible federation. I was proud to welcome all bodybuilding and physique sports, brothers and sisters from across the world, including delegates and supporting guests to our country; and wished everyone, an enjoyable, memorable and comfortable sojourn in Dubai, UAE.
